Changed Lives!

“I was born in1980 into a godly home. I spent five years as a child in India with my parents who were planting churches. When we came back to the States my father became the pastor of an Assembly of God church in New Jersey, so I spent a lot of time in church.
“I began to rebel against the authority of my parents during my early teenage years and quickly got involved with drugs and alcohol. By the age of 18 I was heavily addicted enough to go to a Teen Challenge, but once there, I was unwilling to surrender my life to Christ.
“This led to another ten years of hurt, loss and destruction in my life, as I battled drugs and alcohol addiction. Running from God led me down a path that included drug overdoses, jail time, and multiple suicide attempts.
“Through it all, my family was praying for me, and God let me live. In 2009 I began praying for God’s help with my life-controlling problems, and He led me to Teen Challenge of Greater Cleveland. Once here, I surrendered my will to God, and He has begun doing an amazing thing in my heart and life.
“Gone are the anxiety and depression that plagued me for so long. Now I have peace and joy in my heart. No longer do I struggle with using drugs and alcohol. Now I am free. I thank God for His blessings.”

Truly whom the Son makes free is free indeed!
